In February 2026 he hosted Oleksandra Matviichuk, Nobel Peace Prize laureate 2022 and Chair of the Center for Civil Liberties in Kyiv, for a lunch discussion of the DGAP Regional Forum Frankfurt at Villa Bonn. In conversation with Stefan Meister, Head of DGAP's International Order and Democracy programme, she spoke about documenting war crimes, the gaps in international accountability and what European societies owe Ukraine beyond political declarations.
